Our Story

Emphasis Inventories was founded in 2009 after realising there was a gap in the market for an inventory company which could deliver a high-end product for a realistic price.
Our goal was to think differently, think about what our clients really wanted and to exceed their expectations.
To date Emphasis have over 450 clients, many of which have been by our side through our journey and have become more than just clients.
This growth could never have happened without our excellent team of inventory experts and office staff who go the extra mile to ensure that our product is the very best it can be.
Our clerks are all trained in-house to the highest standards and are accredited by the AIIC (Association of Independent Inventory Clerks)

Company Time Line

April 2009
Emphasis Inventories first report – After discovering a need for a reliable and accurate inventory company with a fast turn around time Emphasis was set up. We used the latest technology to produce detailed reports with a full photographic library sent on the very next day.

April 2010
Emphasis moved - We moved into a quirky office on board the HMS President Ship on the Thames in central London. Following our great success we knew that we needed to keep our standards high and wanted to be in the heart of London

May 2011
Emphasis doubled in size - Following continued success we recruited 3 additional team members to meet demands for our service and reports, 5 of the existing members are still with the team now.

August 2012
Olympic contract - Our reputation grew and we secured and exciting contract working with the London Olympics where we were asked to make inventories, check ins and check outs for crew covering this world wide event.

March 2014
Cambridge & Surrey – Our reputation reached Cambridge where an agency specifically requested our services, always happy to help we started doing bookings there and have expanded further into the surrounding areas.

December 2015
New bigger office - As much as we loved the HMS President ship, it was time to move into bigger premises (on land this time) We moved into the Pall Mall Deposit, a historic building in the heart of Ladbrooke Grove.

May 2017
Quality & training department - Now employing up to 45 clerks during peak times we knew that we wanted to keep our standards as high as ever. We set up an excellent team of trainers and managers with the sole purpose of keeping Emphasis clerks the very best in the business.

June 2017
New system - Utilising the very latest app-based technology we introduced a new system giving our customers access to an online booking management portal, a newer look report with additional features to keep us leaders in this industry.

September 2018
Predicting over 10,000 reports this year - Through popular demand we have already exceeded this amount and continue with our mission to exceed expectations.
